provides a conduit for communications between and among the fiber supply portion of the pulp and paper industry to hear and discuss prepared presentations covering mill woodyard design and operational problems. By the very organization of the meeting, there is ample opportunity to discuss specific problems and gain new ideas for solutions among peers and vendors.
encourages both vendors and mill personnel to submit papers and discussion topics for our meeting and we welcome speakers. If you are interested in becoming a speaker for a MOTAG meeting or have an idea for a topic, please send an email speakers@motag.org
Please visit our meeting guidelines page for more details on presentation and attendance guidelines.
The benefits of attending a meeting goes beyond the knowledge and experience that you will bring back to your mill or business, it is about building relationships with other mills and gaining valuable experience from the trials of others. Raw materials are a major expense in paper making and a major process area where new-found efficiency can make an immediate impact on profits. Come and discuss your ideas, problems and success stories with people facing the same daily obstacles.
