Chairman

The Chairman coordinates the activities of the Steering Committee, Program Coordinator,
Secretary, Treasurer, and Scholarship Committee Chairman to fulfill TAPPI requirements
dealing with Anti trust, Financial status, attendance and other items as requested.

Responsibilities

	Conducts the meeting program
	Conducts the Steering Committee Business Meeting
	Develops agenda for the Steering Committee Meeting
	Insures that the financial matters of the MOTAG-South are legally and properly handled, and reported to the Steering Committee at each business session.
	Represents MOTAG-South at the Fiber Raw Material Committee Meetings held twice each year.
	Interfaces with the TAPPI Technical Divisions Administrator to insure sub-committee compliance with TAPPI regulations and guidelines.
	Enforces strict compliance with Antitrust regulations
	Assists the Program Coordinator in the development of meeting format
	Hosts the Social hour
	Serves a two year term of office

This office serves without reimbursement of expenses. In the event that the chairman is not
employed and not receiving expense reimbursement, he shall be reimbursed for his expenses
from MOTAG upon approval of the Steering Committee in their business session.
