Chairman - Scholarship Committee

Serves as chairman of the MOTAG-South Scholarship Committee in its administration and selection of deserving students who are majoring in Forestry or closely related subjects pertaining to the Pulp and Paper Industry within authorized guidelines approved by the Steering Committee.

Responsibilities

squarebut.jpg - 1288 BytesReceives applications from college students covering grades, activities, need and other requirements while attending and accredited collect in the South awarding a B.S. Degree in Forestry or Pulp and Paper.
squarebut.jpg - 1288 BytesConducts a committee review of all applicants to select two for recommendation to the Steering Committee.
squarebut.jpg - 1288 BytesReports the recommendations of the Scholarship Committee to the Steering Committee for final approval at their semi-annual business meeting.

This office serves without reimbursement of expenses. In the event that the Chairman is not employed and not on an expense account, he may b reimbursed for his expenses upon approval of the Steering Committee in their business session.
