Chairman - Scholarship Committee
Serves as chairman of the MOTAG-South Scholarship Committee in its administration and selection of deserving students who are majoring in Forestry or closely related subjects pertaining to the Pulp and Paper Industry within authorized guidelines approved by the Steering Committee.
Responsibilities

Selects two (2) members from the Steering Committee to assist in the functions of the Scholarship Committee |
 | Receives applications from college students covering grades, activities, need and other requirements while attending and accredited collect in the South awarding a B.S. Degree in Forestry or Pulp and Paper. |
 | Conducts a committee review of all applicants to select two for recommendation to the Steering Committee. |
 | Reports the recommendations of the Scholarship Committee to the Steering Committee for final approval at their semi-annual business meeting. |
 | Recommends changes in the Scholarship Program to the Steering Committee for their approval. |
 | Monitors individual student progress after each completed college year for continued financial assistance. |
 | Authorizes the Treasures to issue checks for individual scholarship awards to their selected College Director of Admissions. |
This office serves without reimbursement of expenses. In the event that the Chairman is not employed and not on an expense account, he may b reimbursed for his expenses upon approval of the Steering Committee in their business session.
